BOARD CERTIFICATION

Graduates of HAI programs consisting of five or more courses qualify for Board Certification as Holistic Health Practitioners through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP).  The application will be mailed to you upon graduation from any of our qualifying programs.  You may contact the AADP at 1-888-764-AADP.

The Advanced Reiki Practitioner (ARP) program changed my life.  When I learned that all of our negative emotions are caused by a disruption in our body’s energy system, and that energy therapy (Reiki) realigns our subtle biofield to reduce or eliminate those emotions, well, life got a whole lot easier!  After completing both the ARP program and the Spiritual Counselor (SC) program, I feel much more centered, and I have a wonderful new job as a Reiki Master Practitioner/Teacher.  I would highly recommend both programs.  All of the HAI courses are very thorough, easy to follow, and incredibly interesting.  They are a must for anyone who wants to learn to thrive on a multidimensional level, or simply to expand their existing spiritual practice.

Reiki Shamanism

Some visionary Reiki Practitioners have fused aspects of shamanic practices to Reiki, creating expanded ways of working with Universal Life Force through Shamanic Reiki traditions.  The word shaman is a Siberian word for a spiritual healer.  Since ancient times, shamanism has also been practiced in parts of Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, Greenland, and native North and South America.  In tribal communities, shamans have acted as healers, doctors, priests, psychotherapists, mystics, and storytellers.  That shamanic practices have survived and thrived for tens of thousands of years speaks to the potency of the work (Ingerman 7-8). . . . SELF-PACED LEARNING

Because HAI’s typical student is an adult learner with family and professional responsibilities, our flexible learning format works within your own schedule.  You may enroll at any time and progress at your own pace as the rest of your life plan allows.  Although, learning at HAI is self-paced, we do ask that all courses and programs be completed within two years of the initial enrollment date. 

Most of our courses require about sixty hours of study time.  Some students are able to complete a course in as little as two weeks, while others may take a month or more.  Our programs then, each consisting of three to twelve courses, can easily be completed within one to two years or even less with a regular study routine.

In the HAI Advanced Reiki Practitioner Program, you will focus on health and healing on the Spiritual Soul level.  You will discover that shamanism and Reiki are both powerful ways to heal by themselves, but together their power multiplies, and healing methods become available that are not accessible when used separately.  You will investigate the tradition of shamanism, surveying this time-honored way of touching the nexus of the mind, body, and soul; the use of imagery within Western medicine, including a look at contemporary examples of how health care professionals have drawn on the power of the imagination through such methods as hypnosis, biofeedback, and the placebo effect; and the science of immunology to uncover the most effective ground for visualization, and data demonstrating how imagery can have a direct and profound impact on the workings of the immune system.  You will explore the original role of the shaman in indigenous cultures; how to meet and work with power animals and other spirit guides; how to navigate the lower, upper, and middle worlds, the three divisions of unseen reality; and the keys to successful journeying in our modern culture.  As well, you will examine both the spiritual and the scientific information related to divine communication.  You will be prepared to teach and pass the healing system of Reiki on to others and provided with detailed and proven methods to enhance healing for ourselves, other species, and the planet itself. 

The skills developed in the ARP Program will enable you to start or enhance your own holistic healing business; integrate advanced Reiki therapies in your work as a doctor, nurse, massage therapist, or any other healing profession; or offer your holistic healing expertise in other professional capacities.  Considering that some similar programs may cost many thousands of dollars, this program is clearly an astounding value.  But most amazing of all, upon completion of any five HAI courses you will also earn Certification as a Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP).

When all course requirements have been met, you will receive a personalized Certificate with our gold embossed seal stating that you have been awarded the title of Advanced Reiki Practitioner.  In addition, upon completion of any five HAI courses you will receive a personalized Certificate with our gold embossed seal stating that you have been awarded the title of Holistic Health Practitioner.  You may then use the appropriate initials ARP and HHP after your name.
