Our educational courses may be taken individually and when any five courses are completed, you will earn Certification as a Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP).

In the HAI Tools for Spiritual Counselors Course, you will obtain the essential tools you need to respond to other people with awareness and compassion.  You will be introduced to the basic principles that underpin counseling practice; provide insight into various counseling approaches; and clarify the nature of counseling and the role of the paraprofessional counselor.  You will develop a repertoire of key counseling skills and qualities, such as active listening, genuineness, unconditional positive regard, empathy, and much, much more.  You will acquire the power of disciplined understanding, the art of helping without hurting, so that you can read and respond to the complex language of emotional distress.  You will learn to interact therapeutically with the suffering, the grieving, the confused—those who turn so often to spiritual counselors, clergy, teachers, physicians, nurses, family, and friends.  Additionally, you will receive guidance concerning how counselors can help themselves while helping others.
